The Role
As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in live transaction execution, client relationship management, and mentoring junior team members. You'll gain end-to-end exposure on deals, often working in lean teams alongside senior bankers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading financial modelling and valuation for M&A and financing transactions across energy transition assets (renewables, energy storage, alternative fuels, carbon solutions, etc.)
* Preparing marketing and client materials including teasers, management presentations, and information memoranda
* Supporting due diligence processes, coordinating with advisors, and managing data rooms
* Conducting industry and company research to support pitches and execution
* Managing junior colleagues and contributing to their training and development
* Building strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a motivated, technically strong individual who thrives in a boutique-style, high-responsibility environment and brings a genuine interest in the clean energy space.
Requirements:
* 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, project finance, or transaction services with relevant energy/infrastructure exposure
* Strong financial modelling capabilities – able to build complex models from scratch and explain assumptions clearly
* Track record of transaction execution, ideally in energy, infrastructure or related sectors
* Commercial awareness of energy transition dynamics, technologies, and drivers
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; confident dealing with senior stakeholders
* Highly collaborative team player with strong attention to detail
* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Mergermarket)
* Degree-qualified with strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
