Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk
Salary: DOE
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Saturday (potential overtime available and sundays if on call)
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based near Newmarket, Suffolk.
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Proactively complete maintenance, servicing, and administrative tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Lead to maintain operational efficiency.
* Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure operational priorities are aligned and client expectations are met at all times
* Coordinate with employees and suppliers to clarify maintenance requirements and ensure timely task completion.
* Adhering to H&S policies at all times
An ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer will have:
* Demonstrate knowledge of working with hazardous materials and the risks involved.
* Working knowledge of tool craft equipment, including grinding and welding.
* Confident in using computers and standard workplace software.
