Description
You'll play a key role in the development, implementation, and support of AVEVA (Wonderware) System platform/SQL Server based factory management and control systems (FMS) within CHEP’s plants.
About the Role:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform/SQL Server-based Factory Management and Control Systems (FMS) within CHEP plants globally.
Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and control systems while collaborating with key teams to drive operational efficiency and support the Plant of the Future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities may include:
1. Develop and configure AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform, InTouch, and MS SQL Server for plant FMS systems.
2. Collaborate with Process Engineering to integrate mechanical, electrical, and controls systems into FMS.
3. Analyze business problems, develop solutions, and implement technical improvements that add value.
4. Enforce CHEP FMS standards with vendors and ensure rapid system implementations.
5. Provide ongoing plant support, including troubleshooting and debugging of FMS systems.
6. Manage global FMS deployments, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Lead or participate in remote and on-site support, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
8. Maintain documentation and provide training to internal teams and vendors on FMS systems.
Experience
9. Minimum 3 years demonstrated project experience developing and implementing AVEVA (Wonderware) System platform 2020.
10. Experience using SQL Server 2017 databases, stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services, and .NET.
11. Competent in use of AVEVA/Wonderware system platform troubleshooting tools.
12. Experience with being on call and remote support
13. Understanding of Rockwell PLCs (SLC 500, Micrologix, Compactlogix, Control Logix).
Knowledge
14. Familiar with Inductive automation Ignition 8.1.
15. Strong written and verbal communication skills are an essential element of this position.
16. Must be comfortable working on the plant floor in a hands-on start-up environment with challenging schedules.
17. Ability to apply project management and time management skills to consistently meet project timelines with aggressive schedules.
18. Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
19. Ability to work successfully and autonomously in a fast paced, results oriented
20. environment.
21. Knowledge and operation of server and PC hardware and associated operating system software, specifically Windows Server 2019.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program
