HGV Technician / Trailer Technician / Mobile Technician £60-68k, 50 hour working week including travel to site, overtime 1.5 and 2 x salary 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday, + 2 Sat or Sun per month Crick, Coventry, Bedford, Northants
As a HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles, including trailers
What You'll Be Doing as the HGV Technician
• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on HGVs, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out inspections and complete MOT prep and presentation.
• Diagnose faults and efficiently rectify issues.
• Maintain accurate records, including job cards and service sheets, using online systems.
• Prioritise tasks to ensure quality service without sacrificing efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with a focus on “Right First Time.”
What You'll Bring as the HGV Technician
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair & Maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience working with HGV (Trucks & Trailers)
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Basic IT skills are beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Motivated, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
