We are partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking firm to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to play a central role in driving the firm’s financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and building a pathway toward a future Head of Finance position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a Finance Business Partner, working closely with Partners, Fee Earners, and Heads of Department to provide insight, challenge, and guidance that strengthens commercial outcomes
* Take hands-on ownership of ledger management, month-end and year-end reporting, and core financial reporting processes
* Deliver forward-looking analysis, budgeting, and business planning to support strategic initiatives
* Collaborate with the Finance Managers’ group to ensure a cohesive, high-performing Finance function
* Provide clear, actionable financial information to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making
* Support process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements where appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering
* Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis
* Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
* Experience with dashboarding tools and SQL queries is an advantage

* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, comfortable handling large datasets

* Collaborative team player, able to work closely with peers across the Finance function
* Must be Entitled or Entitled to work in Jersey
