As a Digital Manager: Proactive Engagement, you will focus on alerts, notifications and push. You will transform and enhance alerts and notification preferences for our customers, define strategies, translate business needs into actionable technical tasks and communicate effectively with technical teams including testers and engineers. You will work with various stakeholders and ensure risk frameworks, data privacy and regulatory requirements are met.
To be successful as a Digital Manager: Proactive Engagement – Alerts, Notifications and Push, you should have experience with:
* Stakeholder management
* Using Jira and Confluence
* Writing user stories, customer journey mapping and design thinking
* Understanding risk and controls framework
* Translating business needs and working with technical teams
* Understanding Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR)

Purpose of the role
To manage and drive the innovation strategy to meet customer needs and ensure the bank's long‑term success and competitive edge.
Accountabilities
* Execute market research to understand customer needs, pain points and emerging trends to support profitability analysis, market sizing and positioning for new products and identify diversification opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and teams—including marketing, sales, technology, engineers and designers—to generate innovative and feasible product ideas and prototypes aligned with customer needs and strategic goals.
* Develop concepts and specifications that define features, functionalities, target market, user interface, technical specifications and potential revenue models for new products.
* Evaluate the technical feasibility, legal compliance and potential risks associated with developing and launching new products.
* Monitor market trends and analyse feedback from internal employees and target customers through prototypes, user testing sessions and beta programs to refine products before launch.
* Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments for products, establishing rollout timelines, marketing strategies, training initiatives and communication channels to promote new product launches effectively.
* Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction and revenue generation to assess product performance against set goals.
