The post is based in a very busy, modern, and well-equipped Imaging department. The successful applicant will work closely with radiologists and nursing staff in fulfilling the commitment to provide a high-quality service to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. They will contribute to the coordination of elective and acute patients accessing the services of Interventional radiology, so must have a flexible approach and a strong work ethic in this busy environment to meet the needs of the service. Contribute as part of the interventional radiology team to the diagnostic process, maintaining high standards of care, competence, manner, punctuality and appearance. The job description will be reviewed periodically as part of the performance appraisal system and may be subject to change with the agreement of the post holder and senior nurse or Superintendent Radiographer.
