A great opportunity for an Estimator is now available to join a well-established Construction company based in Glasgow. This role would suit someone with a strong background in Estimating who can hit the ground running. This is a company who are winning regular contracts and specialise in Energy Efficiency, Wall Insulation and Mechanical and Electrical services. Over the years they have built a strong portfolio of clients, establishing repeat business.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse cost estimates for projects.
* Make sure budgets stay on track.
* Compile bids and tenders for new work.
* Calculate costs of materials, transport etc.
* Set and review labour costs.
* Follow all health and safety requirements.
* Keep up to date with changes in inflation and project timescales.
* Liaise with Management teams.
* Prepare and submit final quotations for work.
Essential:
* Demonstrable experience within an Estimating role.
