Head of Sub-Contract Management – UWS UK – 12 - 24 month fixed term contract
Location: Templecombe (flexible on base location: Bristol, Cheadle, or Crawley)
A vacancy within our Procurement team at Thales Under Water Systems (UWS). This role offers varied exposure across multiple business areas and a supportive team environment.
Our opportunity
Seeking a forward-thinking Head of Sub-Contract Management, reporting to the Procurement Director. You will lead and support supplier relationships in underwater systems domestically and internationally, liaising with stakeholders across UWS, Thales UK, and global procurement categories.
You will lead a team of experienced Sub-Contracts Managers, primarily based at Templecombe and Cheadle, with on-site presence as required. The role involves developing and managing the team, being part of the UWS Procurement Leadership Team, and acting as a delegate for the Procurement Director.
Key targets include sub-contract/supplier delivery, quality, cost performance, and process development.
