Each JoJo store is unique, whether it’s trading over two floors, having a quirky layout, or being in an interesting location. They each have their own character. Our key differentiator in the retail world is the relationships we build with our customers, many of whom are loyal to our brand and local store teams. As a team member, you’ll be the face of JoJo, delivering exceptional customer care and service that we are proud of. You will guide, inform, and assist customers in choosing from our extensive range of clothing and products, from expectant parents to grandparents and friends.
Our commitment to B Corp principles is fundamental, and every team member upholds them. As retail moves into a digital space, providing Omni-Channel customer service is essential to foster loyalty.
A glimpse into your daily activities:
* Helping customers in diverse situations, such as bra fitting, maternity wear discussions, or demonstrating a baby carrier.
* Preparing and managing Omni-Channel orders.
* Communicating with customers in-store or via phone regarding orders.
* Using digital learning platforms to develop your retail skills and product knowledge.
* Learning about new products to increase sales opportunities.
* Listening actively to customer needs and providing suitable solutions.
* Maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
A typical week involves 2 shifts of 5 hours, but flexibility is needed based on store requirements.
Skills that will help you succeed:
* Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
* Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Strong product knowledge and communication skills.
* A proactive attitude and curiosity to learn independently.
* Ability to listen actively, empathize, and understand customer needs without hard sales techniques.
* Ability to work harmoniously within a small team.
* Flexibility to work in a retail environment, with stores open 7 days a week.
* Attention to detail and pride in store presentation.
