Construction Project Manager
Our client, an established Irish construction company are hiring a Project Manager to lead a large construction project at a food processing facility outside Glasgow, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end site management, delivering the project safely, on schedule and within budget. This will be a 6-month project commencing in August with potential for further projects in Scotland upon completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of project delivery from mobilisation to final handover.
* Manage and coordinate site operations, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with UK health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Develop and track project programme and ensure milestones are achieved.
* Monitor costs and manage budget in line with commercial targets.
* Maintain regular communication with client representatives, consultants, and internal teams.
* Produce site progress reports and chair coordination meetings.
* Drive performance and proactively resolve site issues to minimise delays.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally with industrial or food-sector experience.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
* Strong working knowledge of UK construction standards, CDM regulations, and HSE protocols.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and project scheduling software.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black), and First Aid certifications preferred.
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work full-time on site.
