Salary: £425 - £475 per week (depending on qualifications and experience)
About the Role
Connex Education is partnering with primary schools in Bilborough to offer relief cover opportunities, allowing you to work across multiple educational settings.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be matched to work within one or more primary schools in the Arnold area. Your role involves supporting children in the early years with Phonics (Read, Write Inc), assisting with SATs preparation for older pupils, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities include general classroom support in KS1 and KS2, facilitating learning through play, and providing small group interventions for pupils needing additional help. You will work closely with teachers to support learning goals and promote a positive classroom atmosphere.

Person Specification
* Experience working with children aged 4–11 in the UK
* Willingness to support children 1:1 or in small groups
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
* Organised, reliable, and proactive
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
* Willingness to go the extra mile
