Job Title: Procurement Business Information & Reporting Analyst Location: Remote (UK-based) Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Reports To: Procurement Manager Industry: Manufacturing Overview H9 Talent Solutions are supporting a leading manufacturer in the recruitment of a Procurement Business Information & Reporting Analyst to join their team. This role plays a critical part in transforming procurement data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making and performance improvement. You will work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, robust data governance, and continuous improvement across procurement processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Procurement Performance Tracking Manage processes for tracking and reporting procurement project performance. Review and validate project savings calculations, ensuring compliance with reporting standards. Maintain and update project trackers to accurately reflect progress and budget variances. Monitor supplier rebates (e.g., bulk chemicals), ensuring accurate reporting and timely issue resolution in coordination with finance and procurement teams. 2. Data Analysis Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, efficiency gains, and performance trends. Proactively assess and report risks and opportunities within procurement operations. Monitor key commodity markets, providing regular updates and insights for pricing and strategy decisions. Support Category Managers with analytical evaluations of supplier tenders. Perform ad hoc analyses to support business objectives and decision-making. 3. Reporting & Business Intelligence Prepare monthly procurement and management reports. Manage KPI tracking, including working capital and cost reduction initiatives. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Coordinate procurement inputs for budget and forecasting cycles. 4. Data Governance & Quality Establish and maintain strong procurement data governance processes. Drive improvements in data quality, including spend categorisation and payment terms. Work with category managers and suppliers to align data accuracy with agreements. Partner with IT and data teams to integrate multiple data sources and enhance BI reporting capabilities. Support the business with master data management and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably within procurement or supply chain. Proven ability to manage data-driven projects and deliver actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modelling). Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
