Job Opportunity: Engineering Delivery Manager
This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.
* Be an integral part of the growing Capital Maintenance Projects team.
* Oversee procurement processes, framework suppliers, and subcontractor supply chains involved in site-based construction activities.
* Manage resources and support the training and development of Project Engineers.
* Support estimates, programming, and planning efforts.
* Ensure all projects meet program deadlines, client specifications, and legislative requirements, including health and safety standards.
Location and Working Conditions:
The role is based in Guildford with travel across the area. It requires being office-based five days a week. A valid driving license is necessary as the role includes a car allowance.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a commercial and technical engineering role, preferably with a degree/HND in engineering or business administration.
* Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
* Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor supply chains.
* Leadership skills in resource management and staff development.
Benefits:
* Salary up to £66,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* 26 days holiday, increasing to 30 with service, plus bank holidays.
* Car allowance of £4,500 per year.
