Deputy Manager:

Are you currently a Deputy Manager or Senior Support Worker looking for a New Challenge or Direction? If so, This Role as a Deputy Manager within our Wallasey Service may be for you!

What you’ll be doing:

9. Assist in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance and knowledge with all regulatory requirements
10. Conduct regular staff supervisions and training sessions to promote professional development within the service.
11. Support the staff team to maintain a high level of care that is required for the needs of the People We Support and for the service.
12. Liaise with external agencies, families, and other MDT to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
13. Support the Registered Manager with the rota system, incorporating 1-2-1 hours for the People We Support
14. Have good knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance and CQC Framework.
15. Strong ability to use own initiative

Who you are:

16. Must have a Full UK clean Driving License
17. Must have a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role within health and social care
18. Have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and be willing to work towards NVQ Level 5 in Leadership.
19. You will be trustworthy, reliable and can communicate effectively.
20. You will have a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth.
21. You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practices with an open mind to learning.
22. You will treat people equally, remove barriers, and empower the People We Support and Support Workers to have their best lives.
23. You are a professional with the ability to motivate others.
24. You are people-centric, supportive, and compassionate.
25. A Driver is essential due to service requirements and for the needs of the People We Support.
26. Must be available for immediate start pending suitable DBS and reference checks. Preferably on the update service.
