Now, we’re looking for a Strategy Lead who’s ready to turn our clients' big ambitions into real growth. This role is about more than ideas—it’s about aligning platforms, people, and processes. You’ll work at the heart of our client relationships, translating goals into ecommerce strategies that move the needle. You’ll guide roadmaps, lead the charge on delivery, and ensure that what we implement drives outcomes for our clients.
You’ll also have a front-row seat to the best of the B2B ecommerce world. Collaborating with top-tier platforms and thought leaders, and playing an active role in shaping what’s next for the industry in the UK.

As Strategy Lead, your role is to align people, platforms, and processes, turning B2B ecommerce potential into performance. You’ll guide our clients to make smarter, outcome-led decisions that serve their goals, not the latest shiny tool. You’ll keep our internal team locked onto what matters: delivering work that drives real growth. And you’ll co-create clear, ambitious e-commerce plans with our clients, then make sure we get there together.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate complex client goals into clear, strategic briefs and actionable ecommerce plans, rooted in growth outcomes, not trends.
* Own and evolve ecommerce strategies for retainer clients, ensuring every move is aligned with long-term growth and business value.
* Prioritise backlogs and guide roadmap planning in collaboration with clients and internal teams, always focused on what delivers impact.
* Lead and continually improve the Rixxo Foundations process as the framework for scalable, repeatable strategic delivery.
* Run strategy sessions, quarterly reviews, and annual planning. Aligning requirements to be delivered with the growth strategy at each touch point.
* Turn analytics into action. Monitor and create dashboards, uncover insights, and adjust plans to optimise for client growth
* Collaborate daily with delivery teams to unblock projects, clarify scope, and keep progress aligned with business value and strategic plans.
* Maintain clear, valuable documentation in Confluence — making strategy, progress, and instructions clear across internal and external teams.
* Support the sales team by shaping scopes of work and contributing strategic input to pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
* Identify and lead growth opportunities within existing client accounts, using data, insight, and business value as your guide.
* Represent Rixxo externally — from industry events to partner meetings — and bring back insights that drive innovation internally.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on performance, progress, and strategic direction for clients.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience 5+ years in a role involving high-level client engagement, ecommerce strategy, and digital solution delivery.
* Demonstrated success in B2B ecommerce, either leading internal teams or as an external consultant.
* Strong working knowledge of best-in-breed ecommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and Oro Commerce) and system integration.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using GA4, Looker Studio, and other modern reporting and data visualisation tools to uncover insights and guide strategic decision-making.
* Confident working in Jira/Task Management Tools, Confluence, and work management platforms with a focus on structured, value-driven project oversight.
* Skilled in prioritising requirements based on business value and translating client needs into tangible outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic planning and hands-on project execution
* Comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments that demand agility and proactive thinking.
