This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic CBT Therapist to join EPUT's perinatal psychological services for mothers, birthing people, and their infants.
About the Service
The Perinatal Mental Health Service (PMHS) provides high-quality maternal mental health and wellbeing support across Essex. It consists of five perinatal hubs with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, psychiatry, psychology, nursery nursing, social work, and occupational therapy.
Role Details
This is a 1-year fixed-term, part-time (0.5 WTE) Band 7 position in the North East Locality (Colchester and Coastal Towns). The role involves delivering specialist psychological assessments and interventions, including trauma-focused therapies such as TF-CBT and EMDR, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions for perinatal care planning.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in trauma and perinatal mental health is essential. The role supports the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions and MDT collaboration.
