About the role
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Management Accountant to join our small but high performing Finance team. The team plays a vital role at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, ensuring that we produce high quality financial information; that we have strong financial controls over the organisation’s assets; that we partner with the key individuals across the organisation to produce quality information; and ensure that we account correctly for all our income and expenditure. This is a broad role covering many aspects of finance within a charity and you will enjoy working with people across the organisation.
As a key member of our Finance team, you will work closely with the Head of Finance & Compliance and Director of Finance & Resources, as well as various members of the Fundraising teams. We welcome applications from candidates who have demonstrable experience in management and financial accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and ideally gift aid and restricted funds reporting
The post will be based at the hospice in Hampton, but you may need to occasionally travel to our hospice in Guildford.
