About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support learners in the Watford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work individually with students, helping them improve academically, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to individual needs
* Support core subjects such as English and Maths (additional subjects desirable)
* Plan and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience within the UK curriculum
* Strong subject knowledge
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient, reliable, and committed to student success
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Experience working with SEN or vulnerable learners
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
