NHS Shetland is offering a paid placement opportunity as a Pharmacy Support Worker, commencing in September/October. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn, looking to transition into healthcare and contribute to delivering safe and effective pharmacy services. The post holder fulfils a vital role within the Hospital dispensary, receiving and distributing medications, plus stock management, ward top up of medications, procurement, cleaning and administrative work. This is a training post requiring the post holder to work towards a vocational training programme: SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6).

This contract is for a fixed-term for 6 months. The reason for the fixed-term contract is due to the Armed Forces Talent Programme.
