Salary:
£26,000 or £28,000 depending on your university degree level.
Basic Function:
Assist and support the Financial Controller for the commercial business unit in Iveco Limited with reporting and analysis activity.
You will develop your critical analysis skills by assessing the reliability and compliance of our financial results and by supporting us in our financial audits. You will learn the budgeting and forecasting activities for our products, how to manage accruals and will often liaise with other commercial departments to support decision making with facts and figures.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
* Costing of vehicles
* Assess profitability
* Process discount calculation and Payment
* Understanding Commercial Strategy and support its deployment
* Month end, ensuring that vehicles have the correct accruals against them
* Assist in discount analysis and discount reserve evaluation
* Ensure discount control system functionalities to be fully in place and correctly working (DTS, sales programme and marketing campaigns)
* Weekly scorecards and KPI's to management
* Monthly overheads report package to management
* Ad-hoc analytical support to support management in decision making
* Budget and forecast activities for New Vehicles
Job requirements and qualifications:
* Quantitative approach
* Economics knowledge
* Understanding of Balance Sheet data and correlation with P&L
* University degree in economics/finance or equivalent
* Good/advanced excel skills
* Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve
* Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
* Fluency in English
Desirable but not necessary:
* Confident working on systems (SAP, Hyperion/Oracle etc)
Additional job requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Full clean Driving Licence
* Ability to travel around the territory, with some over-night stays
