An exciting job opportunity has arisen within our Patient Access Clerking/Reception function at Aintree Hospital. We are a hard working, dynamic team that provides Outpatient Administration support throughout the Trust. We hope to recruit organized and enthusiastic administration clerks that are flexible and looking to be part of a great team.
We have a number of vacancies for full time staff. Our department is primarily open 08:30 – 17:00. No experience is needed as full training will be provided. If you are passionate about admin and the NHS, and are looking for a position that builds skills and knowledge with opportunities to progress, this could be the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an effective customer‑focused service in line with the Trust’s ‘First Impression’ Standards.
* Manage routine reception duties, prepare medical notes for outpatient clinics and book outpatient/inpatient appointments.
* Provide cover for absent colleagues as required to maintain service provision.
* Present a smart and professional image in line with the Trust’s Uniform and Dress Code Policy.
* Follow all policies and procedures of the organisation.
* Use keyboard skills essential for efficient performance.
Requirements
* No prior experience required; full training provided.
* Organised, enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individuals.
* Efficient team player capable of working to deadlines in a demanding environment.
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work on own initiative and independently.
* Keyboard proficiency essential.
The post holder shall follow all the policies and procedures of the organisation and undertake the full range of duties commensurate with the role, including booking, reception, patient reminder and general duties.
