Overview
To design and deliver training and development interventions for the delivery and promotion of wellbeing and the Alliance Peer Support Network across the Alliance. The role also focuses on managing, maintaining and developing the capacity and capability of the Alliance Peer Support network and being an advocate for the delivery and promotion of wellbeing activity across the Alliance.
Responsibilities
* The post will deliver training inputs several days a week and be responsible to coordinate, prepare training schedules, design, develop and deliver training schedules across a variety of different packages.
* Plan, design and deliver training packages on wellbeing, physical activity, healthy eating and peer support. To include classroom sessions and learning exercises utilising all available technology by adopting innovative and alternate methods of delivery where appropriate. This includes officers, staff, PCSO's, Specials & volunteers as identified.
* Responsible for delivering and co-ordinating the Peer Support Network, training, Peer Supporters and Peer Support Supervisors along with the development of the Peer Support Service.
* Take responsibility for overseeing the Peer Support Budget.
* Manage project work and delivery of wellbeing initiatives as appropriate under supervision of Wellbeing Manager.
* A flexible working arrangement within the working week of Monday to Friday and within the times of 07:00 to 18:00.
