Thermal Driller – Job Description Key Responsibilities * Operate and maintain drilling rigs and related equipment for geothermal/thermal wells. * Drill boreholes to specified depths for geothermal heating and cooling systems. * Conduct site preparation, including equipment setup, calibration, and inspection. * Monitor drilling parameters such as pressure, temperature, and penetration rate. * Install geothermal loops, casing, and piping systems in drilled boreholes. * Collect soil and rock samples and report geological conditions. * Troubleshoot drilling issues such as circulation loss, equipment malfunction, or blockage. * Follow strict safety procedures and environmental regulations. * Maintain accurate logs of drilling activities and site documentation. * Work closely with engineers, technicians, and project managers to meet project specifications.
