You will be working alongside a small team of social work staff. In collaboration with parents and other services you will support the team in undertaking parenting assessments, including family time, to determine whether children aged 0-2 years and their siblings, can safely return to parental care. The team adopt a strength-based approach and are passionate about working alongside parents in a trauma informed manner and with a focus on establishing relationship-based approaches. We work within frameworks including The Promise, Safe and Together and Signs of Safety. We are looking for a Social Work Assistant with a minimum of two years’ experience in a Children and Families setting to complement the existing team.
