We’re working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Enfield who are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. What you’ll be doing: • Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH • Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs and learning styles • Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour strategies • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCPs and support plans • Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their confidence and independence
What we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will be: • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs • Patient, empathetic, and resilient • A calm and consistent presence in the classroom • A strong communicator who works well with staff, pupils, and families • Proactive and able to use initiative in a dynamic setting
Experience supporting children with SEN is valuable, but your mindset, compassion, and willingness to learn are what really count.
