Job Description
Ledger Controller duties include:
3. Managing all sales and purchase data coding and entry.
4. Be a point of contact and provide day to day finance support to the business.
5. Embrace and implement process improvements for multiple divisions/entities.
6. Support the Finance team with:
7. HMRC returns (VAT, CIS, P11ds etc)
8. Banking and Treasury Management
9. Preparation of Bank and control account Reconciliations
10. Management of Credit Control including review of Aged Debt and Cash Flow Reporting
11. Purchase ledger invoice and payments processing.
12. Collaborate with business units to optimise financial outcomes and drive accountability
13. Working with and guiding a small team to develop processes and improve reporting accuracy
14. Enhance financial planning systems and tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
15. Previous experience within a similar role
16. Existing knowledge of Sage 200 - Desirable
17. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
18. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
19. Ability to drive continuous improvements
20. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
21. High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
