We are responsible for designing, making and restoring some of sports most iconic trophies including the Emirates FA Cup, the Rugby World Cup, the ATP Finals Trophies, FIFAe World Cup, and the ICC's Men's and Women's Cricket World Cups.

At Thomas Lyte, we combine the latest technologies with centuries of knowledge and are renowned for our stunning designs, superb craftsmanship, and incomparable service.

Our team of master craftspeople are bespoke silver and gold specialists and among the most talented artisans and metalworkers in the world. The priceless pieces they create are packaged and presented immaculately at our London workshops, before being promptly delivered to our clients based all over the world.

The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Director of Sales to lead and grow our global sales division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-value B2B and B2C sales within luxury goods, corporate gifting, or related sectors, ideally within the bespoke manufacturing sector.

This is a critical leadership role focused on developing and integrating our sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and strengthen client relationship; a key member of the senior leadership team, consulting and reporting directly to the Board. This person will be instrumental in connecting the sales and marketing functions, to expand our existing client base, as well as driving new business opportunities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven track record of success in global sales and/or marketing leadership roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience at a Senior Management Role, preferably in luxury goods, sporting industry, design or premium services.

• Deep understanding of global markets, sales processes, and customer dynamics, ideally in the sporting and /or luxury manufacturing sector, with demonstrable success in high-value B2B sales and contract negotiations and a strong understanding of luxury customer expectations and brand positioning.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate at all levels of the business.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.

• Passion for craftsmanship, heritage and design excellence.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies.

• Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce and other sales management tools.

• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Personality & Attributes:

• An ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, with well-developed entrepreneurial initiative and instinctive commercial awareness.

• A persistent and robust forward thinker, with a consultative approach.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, preferred but not essential.
