Overview
Our client, a large matrix banking organisation based in Leeds, is hiring for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Manager with a strong foundation in supplier management, contract lifecycle oversight & negotiation, and decision-making. This role is a 6-month contract starting immediately and supports the Modern Workplace function, delivering end-user computing services across the organisation.
This role involves managing multi-million-pound contracts with global technology providers, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment with business needs.
Responsibilities
* Support contract development, execution, and termination processes, manage supplier relationships, and provide insightful analysis to optimise asset deployment and financial forecasting.
* Communicate effectively to translate complex delivery challenges into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications / Skills
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in tools such as Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Visio, and ServiceNow, and experience in contract management, operational process mapping, and commercial reporting.
