We have a new and exciting opportunity to join the team at InspireU as a Learning Support Assistant working in Boston and Spalding.
About the Role
At InspireU, we deliver study programmes to local people aged 16-24, who may have behavioural issues or academic support needs. Our learners complete lessons in Maths, English, and Preparing for Adulthood. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will support them as they learn the theory and apply their knowledge practically.
Our LSAs work with learners either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. We operate in smaller-than-average classrooms, with classes of no more than 14. Your daily tasks include helping manage behaviour and ensuring learners are engaged in lessons. The role involves various activities such as coordinating themed projects, video blogging, and organizing sports and development days.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role involves working 2 days in Spalding and 2 days in Boston, totaling 32 hours per week.
About the Team
The team values communication and collaboration, with daily debriefs to discuss the day’s challenges and successes. The team includes tutors, wellbeing coaches, job coaches, and employment officers, all committed to helping learners realize and achieve their potential.
We foster a supportive environment with social events, development days, and team-building activities to promote team cohesion and professional growth.
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can use their creativity to keep young learners engaged. You should be proactive, flexible, understanding, highly organized, and an effective communicator. Experience working with vulnerable learners is advantageous but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and other relevant programs.

We support career progression with pathways to roles such as Provision Manager, Job Coach, Wellbeing Coach, or Tutor. Benefits include:
* A Contributory pension
* Comprehensive benefits including discounts and cycle-to-work schemes
