We are looking for a high Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire for November 2025 or January 2026 start. About the role Vision are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to cover PPA time at a wonderful, high achieving school. This role may be suitable for a qualified teacher who is looking for a lighter role. You will need to possess the skills and personality to establish good working relationships with young learners including those with additional support required. About the school You will be covering all classes across the school so that the Teacher may be released for planning time. Planning will be provided. Requirements: To be considered for the role of HLTA- you will: Hold a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Have recent experience teaching whole classes within a Primary school Be able to provide two recent references to support your work with children Be abe to provide full, clear DBS clearance You must also: Be compassionate, understanding and caring Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people Be passionate about improving the outcomes for all children and young people Understand the crucial importance of keeping children and young people safe Be flexible, proactive and a team player Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
