Amazon Global Selling is focused on breaking down barriers to allow third-party sellers from across the world to sell their products to customers in India. This role entails working with multiple Amazon and external stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class seller experience for new sellers and help existing sellers expand their business on the Amazon platform in India.
The objective of this position is to deliver business growth to international sellers on Amazon India and to generate new business growth for Amazon by recruiting third-party sellers offering competitive pricing and broad product selection.
The ideal candidate will have sales experience, the ability to work independently, and be comfortable working across multiple complex functions with the capability to influence external stakeholders. The candidate should be familiar with technology systems and processes, able to analyze data, and draw actionable insights. Operating in a rapidly changing environment requires adaptability to ambiguous, new, and challenging situations. The candidate should also be capable of executing repeatable processes.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Understand Amazon's products and services, and effectively communicate their functions and benefits to external audiences.
2. Work closely with senior executives at interested sellers to negotiate deals and facilitate onboarding.
3. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to drive the seller onboarding process.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to set priorities and develop account targets aligned with category strategies.
5. Monitor performance and sales of key partners, managing their performance to meet productivity and seller satisfaction targets.
Basic Qualifications
* 2+ years of sales experience
* Experience analyzing data and applying best practices to assess performance drivers
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas
* Experience in e-commerce
* Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional organizations
