Our Bosville, Marmalade, and Bracken Hide Hotels are hiring Chef de Parties and Breakfast Chefs to join their teams in Portree, The Isle of Skye. We are currently offering seasonal and permanent contracts for these roles, with up to 40 hours per week, from Monday to Sunday.
As a Chef de Partie/Breakfast Chef, we seek candidates who are guest-focused and dedicated to creating memorable culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring all health and safety procedures in the kitchen adhere to the highest standards. The Bracken Hide Hotel is a new four-star wilderness hotel, connecting guests to the magic of the Island, the stunning land and seascapes, and the nature that abounds. Located on 52 acres west of Portree, it is close enough to leave the car and walk into Portree. The Am Braigh restaurant offers the best of Skye produce, cooked elegantly in a modern setting, highlighting a wide variety of seafood, produce, and delicacies from the Skye larder.
The Bosville Hotel is contained within a trio of 19th-century cottages that have been lovingly restored and converted. Our refined yet cosy accommodation is situated right in the centre of Portree, opposite the harbour with some of the best views in town. The Dulse & Brose menu reflects the vast Skye, Highland, and wider Scottish larder: island and west coast seafood, Skye vegetables and salads, fine cuts of choice meat, Highland and east-coast Scottish cheese, and delicious desserts to satisfy even the sweetest tooth.
The Marmalade Hotel in Portree, set majestically in mature gardens with views over the village, loch, and Cuillin Mountains, offers a perfect location to enjoy everything Skye has to offer. A beautiful blend of historic Manor House and contemporary architecture, this 4-star hotel welcomes guests who appreciate design details and luxurious comfort. The Chargrill restaurant specializes in steak and seafood, cooked to perfection, celebrating passionate Scottish farmers and their excellent produce. Prime cuts of Scottish meat, grilled to order, with side dishes of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, are matched with modern Scottish cooking techniques.
