About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis.
* Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and ensure accessibility for all students.
* Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students with emotional and social needs.
* Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals to implement tailored learning plans.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive, patient, and empathetic attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are preferred.
* Knowledge of SEN strategies and an understanding of safeguarding practices.
