AJ Chambers are working with a top tier law firm in Central London who are seeking a Senior Employment Associate to join their employment team.
Key Responsibilities
* Advised a broad range of employer clients, including financial services institutions and multinational organisations, on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
* Managed complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, including discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract claims, providing strategic and commercially focused advice throughout proceeding
* Supported clients on UK and cross-border employment projects, including restructures, redundancies, business reorganisations and TUPE transfers
* Delivered day-to-day employment law advice on a wide range of workplace issues through regular client contact via telephone, email and virtual meetings
* Supervised and mentored trainees and paralegals, delegating work effectively and contributing to their professional development
* Developed and maintained strong client relationships through active participation in business development, networking initiatives, client seminars and tailored training programmes
* Contributed to firm-wide knowledge management and non-billable activities, including internal training, thought leadership and the sharing of employment law developments and best practice.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Senior employment lawyer with 5+ year's post-qualification experience advising employer clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Experienced in advising financial services organisations and multinational businesses on complex employment law issues
* Strong track record of managing Employment Tribunal litigation and other contentious matters, including discrimination, whistleblowing and contractual disputes
* Enthusiastic and adaptable team player with experience mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
