King's High School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic sports coaches on a casual basis in a wide range of specialisms.
The role is internally known as : Saturday Morning Sports Coaches.
We have a strong sporting ethos in school and compete regularly at national level in hockey, netball and tennis. We are keen to widen our sporting and fitness opportunities to ensure all students regularly participate outside their curriculum lessons.
We will consider applicants with specialisms in any sport, but are particularly interested with anyone with experience of coaching the following:
* Football
* Girls' rugby
* Disc golf
* Volleyball
* Badminton
* Fitness
* Rounders
The successful candidates will be asked to deliver training sessions throughout the year, ideally on Saturday mornings in the first instance. There may be some opportunity to assist in lessons and expand their contributions if suitable.
This is an opportunity for self-motivated individuals with a passion and expertise in sport to work with ambitious and talented pupils.
Experience : Of a relevant nature and preferably experience in teaching young people.
Qualifications (both professional and teaching) : Coaching qualifications appropriate to the sport.
Reporting to: Reporting to the Deputy Head (Co-curricular and Operations) and/or Director of Sport (depending on if curriculum coaching or in co-curricular time).
Salary : The salary scale for this role P33 – P40 per hour depending on experience.
P33 is £23.51 per hour and P40 is £28.07 per hour.
Working weeks : Term-time plus Inset days
