Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the essential energy to support our lives. We provide an end‑to‑end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
What will you be doing?
As an engineer, you will form part of our Metering team that provides a wide range of services from Smart installations, investigating non‑communicating smart meters and emergency and maintenance appointments. You’ll also be responding to emergencies, restoring power or gas when customers need it the most, and you’ll make sure that all jobs are completed on time and customers are provided in‑depth explanations of the benefits and safe usage of their new meter.
You’ll also receive continuous training to maintain and develop your skills. Our onboarding journey ensures you are prepped and ready to be an ambassador for health and safety. You will be on weekly meetings, catch‑ups and our field managers and support functions are always there to offer a helping hand or assistance.
Valid UK driving licence, held for 1 year, less than 6 points.
CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 or NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel.
Experience installing gas and electric smart meters.
