We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in a dynamic care environment. Duties
* Oversee daily operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
* Coordinate patient care activities, including medication administration and case management.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
* Foster a compassionate environment for residents, including those in hospice care or requiring ICU-level attention.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
* Engage with families to provide updates on patient status and involve them in care decisions.
Experience
* Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or similar environments is essential.
* Background in senior care, hospice care, or working with children is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with case management practices and patient care protocols.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience and team management skills.
* Knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging practices is beneficial.
* Experience in medication administration and laboratory settings will be an advantage.
* A strong understanding of dementia care principles and techniques for working with individuals with disabilities is crucial.
