This is a pivotal role within our perishables business. As Key Account Manager, you will own and manage a portfolio of demanding, high-profile customers in the food and perishables industry. You will be their main point of contact, ensuring seamless execution of shipments, proactively resolving issues, and building long-term trusted relationships. Key Duties: * Customer Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, delivering world-class customer service. * Service Excellence: Anticipate customer needs, resolve issues quickly, and ensure service levels consistently exceed expectations. * Portfolio Growth: Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and work closely with Sales to maximize revenue. * Operational Oversight: Liaise with internal teams (air, sea, customs, operations, procurement) to ensure bookings, clearances, and deliveries are executed smoothly and on time. * Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance (GP, volume, service levels) and implement improvement actions where required. * Market Expertise: Stay close to perishables market trends, regulatory requirements, and customer challenges to provide proactive advice. * Collaboration: Work with colleagues across UK and international offices to deliver integrated solutions for customers.
