The role of Mechanical Technician involves supporting site operational activities, working with an asset team, and collaborating closely with the engineering team to provide hands-on technical support. Responsibilities include performing planned preventative maintenance, machine shutdowns, schedule completion, and problem-solving. The role also focuses on continuously improving asset reliability and proactively making a difference.

About You

* Knowledge of safe working practices on complex mechanical systems
* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions
* Basic knowledge of lubrication and CBM in mechanical systems
* At least 4 GCSEs including Mathematics and English, and working towards or having achieved a HNC/HND in Engineering
* A recognized apprenticeship in a relevant field, ideally NVQ Level 3, with hands-on experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments
