Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Southampton, SO14
A Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project, based in Southampton. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a building and construction project.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor - fit out responsibilities:
* Assist in cost estimations
* Be able to handle budget management
* Ensure the project stays on track within budget
* Prepare regular financial reports
* Managing relationships with subcontractors
* Communicating with clients and other stakeholders
* Identify and access potential risks
* Maintain accurate records of project costs, budgets and contracts
Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:
* Ability to analyze data and identify trends in project costs
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and other team members
* Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues
* Have good knowledge of Construction principles, Quantity Surveying techniques
* Have the ability to work relevant software - Technical skills
* Must be organised
* Previously worked on Fit Out projects
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
