Head of Major Sales

The Head of Major Sales is responsible for leading and developing a national team of senior and regionally focused Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed targets from our major sales strategy. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching and mentoring a new business team to success while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common vision. Day to day, the Head of Major Sales will lead from the front, demonstrating the ability to manage the customer through the buying and selling process.
Here’s what we require:
* Successful track record in designing and delivering growth strategies across a medium/large sales team.
* Experience managing a successful business development team with coaching and mentoring at the forefront.
* Strong understanding of the commercial procurement process.
* Proven success in Business Development at various levels, with demonstrable success in securing sub £1m opportunities.
* Knowledge of building and reading P&L statements, balance sheets, and understanding financial models.
