Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Business Support and Marketing Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. If you're a proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual who will thrive on building meaningful relationships, both with our dedicated staff and the young people we support, as well as with our suppliers, then this is for you. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in the running of our centre, supporting our team with administrative tasks and contributing to the positive impact we make on the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage emails efficiently, ensuring prompt responses.
• Handle invoicing processes, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with payroll tasks, including timesheet management and processing payroll.
• General administrative tasks, including filing and organising documents.
• Liaise with suppliers to procure necessary supplies for the centre and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with staff and young people at the centre, providing administrative support as needed.
• Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, updating the website and social media platforms, and assisting with advertising campaigns.
Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Possibility to increase to up to 40 hours per week
42 weeks of the year, with the possibility for overtime. Salary to be pro-rata for 42 weeks/year

Requirements:
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar environment.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks such as invoicing and processing payroll.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer literate.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, clients, external suppliers, and young people • attending the centre.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
• Ability to take the initiative on tasks or projects and willing to learn new skills.
Desirable:
• Experience working in an educational or youth-focused environment.
• Familiarity with accounting software for invoicing and payroll tasks.
• • Basic knowledge of marketing and willingness to learn and contribute to marketing efforts.
