Role Overview
You'll own the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale transformation initiative, establishing governance, managing delivery across multiple work streams, and ensuring measurable benefits are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead programme delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
* Set up governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement structures.
* Align outcomes with regional strategies and digital standards.
* Oversee work streams covering data, citizen services, and infrastructure.
* Manage risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation.
* Lead a multidisciplinary team and promote continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
* Proven track record delivering complex digital transformation programmes.
* Strong governance, change management, and stakeholder engagement experience.
* Knowledge of data strategy, emerging tech, and digital service design.
* Skilled in budget and resource management.
* Experience in Combined Authority or Local Government.
* Understanding of transport, housing, and economic development priorities.
* Familiarity with GDS standards and agile delivery methods.
