As a Deputy Service Manager at Hft South Molton, you’ll support adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives. About the role
You will support the Service Manager in maintaining high standards of clinical and personal support, promoting independence and choice. You will supervise Support Workers and promote best practices, ensuring safety and satisfaction for those supported.
Flexibility is key; you will do on-call shifts outside office hours and work 20% of hours on shift. You will report back to the Service Manager and ensure smooth service operations through feedback and continuous improvement.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
About you
* Recent front-line management experience in learning disabilities services, possibly as a Registered Manager
* Knowledge of legislation, CQC regulations, and health and safety
* Good IT skills and record-keeping experience
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or willing to undertake this within 18 months
* Leadership skills, especially in performance management
