Emergency Medical Technician – Pilot Clinic Location: Ibstock, Leicestershire LE67 6HP Hours: 9am-5pm with a 30 minute unpaid break Contract Length: Approx 6 weeks Hourly rate: £15 per hour Start date : mid January Reporting to: Operations Team About Us GPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS. Our services include GP consultations, physiotherapy, mental health, audiology, health checks, blood tests, vaccinations and more. Consultations take place online, at home, or in a clinic with a GPDQ-vetted, GMC-registered NHS GP or highly skilled multidisciplinary team member. About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Emergency Medical Technician to support an innovative pilot clinic in Ibstock, Leicestershire. The clinic will combine in-person clinical support with AI-enabled technology, including the use of a Medical AI robot.The HCA will play a key role in supporting patients on-site by assisting with the collection of vital signs, before patients move on to a virtual GP consultation. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a forward-thinking healthcare pilot and gain experience working alongside AI-supported clinical technology. Key Responsibilities · Supporting patients attending the clinic in person · Working alongside the Medical AI robot to assist with blood pressure, temperature, and pulse oximetry · Ensuring patients are comfortable and understand the process · Supporting smooth patient flow ahead of virtual GP appointments · Maintaining accurate records and following clinical protocols · Adhering to infection control and data protection standards What We’re Looking For · Previous experience working as an Emergency Technician · Confident taking and supporting the collection of basic observations / vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse oximetry · Comfortable working with new technology and digital systems · Strong communication and patient-care skills · Reliable, professional, and adaptable Our reason for being We help people to stay healthy by revolutionising access to primary healthcare in the home, workplace and community.
