Solicitor - Residential Conveyancing - Gloucester - 2‑5 Years PQE

Salary: £50,000 to £75,000
A nationally recognized conveyancing law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor with 2‑5 years' post‑qualification experience to join its specialist equity release team based in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing firm that values excellence, innovation, and outstanding client service.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
* Sale, purchase, and remortgage transactions
* Leasehold and lease extension work
* New build properties
* Deeds of variation
* Matrimonial transfers
* Equity release (advantageous but not essential)
* SDLT requirements including reliefs and exemptions
* Unregistered properties
* Restrictions and cautions on property titles
You’ll also:
* Provide technical legal guidance and supervision across transactional teams
* Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and trade body standards
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers
Candidate Requirements
* 2‑5 years PQE in residential conveyancing
* Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confidence in managing matters independently
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
