The purpose of this role is to deputise for the Visitor Services and House Manager to both deliver and advocate for exceptional visitor experience during any and all of our performances.
Key responsibilities include championing a visitor-first culture within the volunteer team, leading by example and creating a positive, welcoming experience for all audiences who engage with us.
The role is based at Snape Maltings but some travel and support across other venues in the county will be required.
We deliver approximately 250 events across the year of varying scale and size. A high percentage of these take place in the evenings and at the weekends and this role will require attendance at various times throughout the year. This will be for approximately one-third of events.
We’re looking for:
Experience of working in a customer facing role, ideally in a fast paced environment.
Supervisory experience and skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Confident in IT and efficient at administration tasks.
Available to work evening and weekends (scheduled in advance).
A willingness to undertake first aid.
