Overview
As a Resource Management Investigator, you’ll lead investigations into potential breaches of the Resource Management Act and other environmental legislation. You’ll prepare high-quality reports, initiate enforcement actions, and present evidence in court when required. You’ll also mentor compliance staff and contribute to continuous improvement in investigation practices.

About You
You’re an experienced investigator with a strong understanding of environmental legislation and enforcement. You’re confident in preparing cases for prosecution and presenting evidence in court. You’re collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about protecting the environment.
* A tertiary qualification in natural resources or investigations
* At least 7 years’ experience in an investigatory role
* Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
* Experience in environmental regulation and enforcement
* Confidence using specialist tools and technology
