We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, ensuring our production capabilities remain cutting-edge and efficient. Responsibilities: Lead and manInspire the engineering team to maintain exceptional standards of machinery reliability and performance. Design and execute proactive maintenance programs aimed at reducing equipment downtime and boosting production efficiency. Partner with production management to determine engineering needs and prioritize projects accordingly. Supervise the installation, upkeep, and repair of all production equipment and facilities. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations as well as best practices within the engineering department. Evaluate engineering processes and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency. Oversee budgets and effectively allocate resources for engineering projects and maintenance efforts. Requirements Proven experience in an engineering management role, ideally within the food manufacturing or processing industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems relevant to food production machinery. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team. Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering continuous improvement initiatives. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations as they apply to engineering operations in a manufacturing environment.
